If you are unfamiliar, I have my own YouTube channel where I do tutorials, reviews, hauls and everything in between. I haven't been as active lately due to everything that went on with my mom. Aside from my emotions, it takes way less time to blog than to shoot, edit and upload a video, so that's why it's been easier to come here and share everything. I tried to get back into video making and that turned out real soggy (you can watch here if you choose), but I will start back filming next week and what better way to get back into it than with new equipment!
This amazing tapestry comes from Society 6, which is marketplace where hundreds of thousands of artists from around the globe, uploading and selling their original works as 30+ premium consumer goods from Art Prints to Throw Blankets. The artists create, Society 6 produce and fulfill, and every purchase pays the artist. Pretty cool, right? I literally got LOST searching through all of the artists beautiful work searching for my tapestry. They sell more than just tapestries (which comes in multiple sizes)! You can put your ideal art work on wall art (including framed and canvas prints and wall clocks), items for your home (like pillows, blankets, mugs and more), tech stuff (like phone sleeves and cases, and more), men and women apparel and more!
Now when I received my tapestry and un-packaged it, there was no need for steaming one bit! I wasn't so gentle with it once I opened it and I ended up having to steam it out, but not a lot! And it's very easy to do so as well! I did film a video about this tapestry and I will have it uploaded before the weekend is over. I'm kinda busy at work this week!
It can also be reversed the other way for horizontal stripes (seen below and in this video). I secured it on my backdrop stand (which I forgot where I purchased it guys, I'm sorry) along with some clamps that can be purchased at any home improvement store.
I took this moment to take so shots of this army green outfit that I am LOVING! It was cold and rainy the day I shot these, so the scene was perfect!
