This weekend was ROUGH! There was still that unnerving feeling left behind from knowing that my my mom isn't here anymore. It's such a crazy feeling, I was so attitude-y (if that's a word) at points over this weekend and I had a moment where I REALLY didn't want to even celebrate at all at! I had to put my big girl pants on, suck it up for the sake of my babies wanting to celebrate me and get out of my feelings. And when I did, that's where the fun began!

This year, we wanted to do something different. It seems like every year for a while now, we'd go to the Assembly Line Buffet inside of the Motor City Casino in Detroit. Don't get me wrong, we love going there, but after so many times, It's kinda like "eh". So we ended up going to J. Alexander's inside of the beautiful The Somerset Collection in Troy, MI. The food was SO yummy and the ambiance was just right! So glad we chose to go somewhere new! Now the wait on the other hand, #argh! So just to kill time, we ended up taking a slew of shots of each other which lands today's post. I originally set out to have accessories be on deck for this weeks link up, but these pants stole the show, so accessories will be at a later time!
